My co-author, Joe Kraynak, recently received the following message from our Project Editor at John Wiley & Sons:
Hooray! You did an amazing job; thanks very much for your hard work. Now that all the files are cleaned and ready for the proofreader, you and Ralph are now officially done with the editorial process. I just want to tell you that it has been an absolute pleasure to work with you. [sic: We] thoroughly enjoyed working on the book, and we’re confident that it will be a big hit! You and Ralph should be tremendously proud of your work.
Flipping Houses For Dummies (ISBN: 0470043458) will be published this November!
In related news, Wiley has agreed to publish another book by Joe and myself, but due to confidentiality rules, I’m barred from talking about it for at least three or four more months. Trust me though, it’s going to be another best-seller!
I am in southern California today (San Bernardino, to be more exact) speaking at the first stop on the RE ALERTS Seminar Series/Tour. My good friend and colleague, Stefan Swanepoel–who by the way I should mention is widely regarded as a preeminent authority on trends and change in the real estate industry–invited me to address a group of my fellow Realtors on how to become the number one Realtor in their home markets.
Joining us will be nearly 20 national and local vendors who offer real estate brokers and agents cutting-edge products and services that are available for them to use in their daily business once they return home from the Seminar.
For my part, I’ll be shedding light on the daily activities of what those of us in the real estate profession call “Top Producers” do in order to be as successful as we are, and I’ll also be revealing some of the key attributes, instruments, skills and strategies one must use to maintain extraordinary productivity.

Recently, at STAR POWER System’s Annual Conference in New York City, I was asked to speak to attendees about the power and benefits of blogging. If you think blogging is a flash-in-the-pan, here today-gone tomorrow type of fad, think again. Here’s another shot, from the stage, looking out onto a room packed with Realtors from across the United States and beyond:
